Meet The Grande Oil Team
Grande Oilfield established its’ business operations in July of 2014. Originally founded as York-Porter & Bel/Conn Pipeline, the Company changed its’ name to Grande Oilfield in April 2017. Grande has been in continuous growth mode since its’ commencement and operates with a dedicated commitment to meet the needs of its proven customer base. Grande is led by its Founder and President/CEO, Ken York, as well as its COO, Dylan Del Toro. Grande’s headquarters are in Pearsall, Tx and operates in all areas of Texas. Safety and Quality always the forefront, Grande delivers prompt service to specification, on budget and on-time. Grande’s safety culture is its’ core value and will always be its’ highest priority.
President
Ken York started his career in the pipeline construction industry in 2002, as a laborer, on a 150 mile 20” Marathon-Ashland Pipeline. He then took his environmental experience into pipeline inspection in 2005, where he was the Lead Environmental Inspector on a FERC project in Eunice, LA until late 2006.
Ken was then hired as a utility inspector in 2007 for Devon Energy where he oversaw daily pipeline construction activities, job books and materials inventory. In 2008, Ken accepted a position with Willbros Construction, as an Environmental Coordinator/Foreman, where he worked as a liaison between Willbros and FERC, overseeing all daily activities for 10+ environmental crews, approximately 90 employees.
From mid 2009 to late 2010, Ken worked on several pipeline projects as an environmental foreman, superintendent and pipeline inspector for various O&G companies, such as Enterprise Products, XTO Energy and Energy Transfer. In late 2010, Ken accepted a position as a utility inspector for Chesapeake Midstream, which led to a position as a Construction Supervisor/Coordinator, where he worked until March of 2013.
Ken then took a position with Louisiana Crane & Construction, as their Pipeline Construction Manager, overseeing all pipeline projects and estimating until May 2014.
In September 2014, Ken started York-Porter & Bel/Conn Pipeline, LLC. In 2017, Ken changed the name from York-Porter & Bel/Conn Pipeline to Grande Oilfield, LLC.
Office Manager
Melinda Rawson brings over 15 years administrative experience in Office Management in the construction, pipeline oil and gas industry. She assists in development and implementation of company policies and procedures. She oversees, maintains and is responsible for the completion and submission of all field documentation/job books. She is also responsible for safety compliance. Her skills include Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point, Great Plains and HCSS software. She has traveled and followed various pipeline projects from the Barnett Shale to the Permian Basin back home to the Eagle Ford Shale.
Melinda is a native of Pearsall Texas, she enjoy’s spending time with her family, getting involved in community functions, benefits and in her spare time does planning and decorating for special events.
